Oh, New Year

Oh, New Year

I gaze 'cross the field of untrodden tomorrows,
And pray for its yield, for its joy and its sorrow,
As softly, without warning the old year slips away,
Like mist in the morning at the dawn of the day

Oh New Year unbroken, you are a mystery,
But as each day is spoken it too becomes history,
A shadow, a flicker, a soft, fleeting breath,
This life, but a vapor ere it rests 'neath the earth

I gaze 'cross the field, still perfect, unscarred,
Like a sparkling shield of snow, still unmarred,
No footprints, no dances, no echo of voices
On this unpainted canvas, awaiting my choices

Oh, New Year untarnished, your hope gleams before me,
The old year has vanished, its fame and its glory,
It rests in the urn of all by-gone years
Where none can return to its laughter or tears

So I gaze at this field, unbroken, untrodden,
Soon too its fair yield will lie silent, forgotten,
But the seeds that I scatter in my joy and my strife
Will bear fruit that I'll gather at the end of my life

Another Year To Serve Christ

Another Year To Serve Christ

The old year is over.
It has come and gone.
Its days, we can't get back,
For time just marches on.

Looking back, we see times
When we failed to do our best.
Sometimes we needed to work,
But we took a longer rest.

Maybe we did something
To bring our Savior shame.
Maybe we stayed quiet
Instead of exalting His name.

Maybe we failed to witness
When the opportunity was there.
Maybe we didn't read the Word
And spend some time in prayer.

O God, forgive our failures
As we start this year anew.
Help us to stand for You
And be a willing servant too,

Pressing On For God

Pressing On For God

The sands of time are sinking fast.
Another year has come at last.
God has brought us through so much.
His great love, our lives doth touch.

We hear the media give its bad news.
It seems that righteousness doth lose.
It seems sometimes that sin doth reign.
It seems that the world has gone insane.

Our God still reigns upon His throne,
And He can lead and guide His own.
Even as the ages and years doth roll,
Our Heavenly Father stays in control.

Let's trust Him and cast away all fear
As we press on for our God this year.
We can find the faith that we need.
Let's always pray! His Word, let's read!

Happy, Happy New Year!

Happy, Happy New Year!

"Happy New Year!" we say to each
And everyone around.
We wish you all within our reach
God's blessings to abound.

A time to reflect, a time to plan
Yes, another year is here.
We try to improve in all we can
To have a better year.

The resolutions that we make
Will help with goals to set.
Self-inventory that we take
Will help our goals get met.

May we in this year to come
Take time to serve our God.
May we, a blessing be to some
Poor soul who walks this sod.

In His Presents?

In His Presents?

Colorfully wrapped
Bangles and bows
Soft frosted blue
Some appear froze
Scattered with snowmen
Sliding on ice
Holly and berries
Mistletoe and spice
Santa's eight reindeer
Glide on a sleigh
Such colorful stories
Wrapping papers play
Glimmering and sparkling
Reflecting the lights
Piles of presents
Each child delights

Each child delights
And longs to tear in
To every festive package
And to what lies within
Piles of presents
Sit under the tree
What a tempting enticement
For every eye to see

But what about the presence of God
My friend?
How often do you unwrap it?
How much time do you spend?
Carefully wrapped
With mercy and grace
Undeserved favor
Shines on your face
Such colorful stories
Testimonies play
How many gifts
Have you given today?
Glimmering and sparkling
Reflecting His light
So pile on God's presence
Be a star in the night
What a tempting enticement
For every eye to see
When you're in God's presence
You shine brighter than the tree...
-The Message-

Esther 9:20 Mourning somersaulted into a holiday for parties, the sending and receiving of presents.

Ephesians 1:20 The church is Christ's body, in which He speaks and acts, by which He fills everything with His presence.

Christmas Sonnet 2017

Christmas Sonnet 2017

We gaze, O God, at kids when they arrive.
We stare, amazed as tiny hands and feet
Emerge into the world where they will strive
And work and strain to make their lives complete.
We think of all the effort they’ll expend
To overcome the obstacles they face,
When what they really need’s a royal friend
Who’ll open wide for them the door to grace.
Today we celebrate the child who came
From Jesse’s root and David’s family,
According to the promise in your Word,
Who’ll govern justly in the Father’s name,
Securing grace, for which they’ll happily
Proclaim him as their everlasting Lord.

Indifference

Indifference

It has come! He is here! He is here!
Our Savior has come to us so near!
Born in a stable and lain in the manger
King Herod lurking, Oh what danger!

Magi heard of the baby from afar
Came to worship Him led by the star
Just as had been prophesied in days of old
Gifts for Him of frankincense, myrrh, and gold

Shepherds watched their flocks by night
Angels appeared to them from the Light
Your King has been born in Bethlehem this day
Make your way to worship Him and pray

As the Magi made their way to see the King
Where were the others with their gifts to bring?
As the shepherds made their way across the land
Did the others not see what was close at hand?

King Herod filled with jealousy and greed
Could not abide another King; God's very seed
In Jesus' day there were those who worshiped God's child
Other's were indifferent and some hated Him all the while

It sounds like the country in which I live
Many think Christmas is just a time for gifts to give
Never think of the Savior who came to save us all
Never think of the tiny baby who took the fall

Some hate Him with no plausible reason
They want to take His name out of the season
Happy holidays they say as they take your money
Just as Easter is now all about the bunny

How can you hate a man who lived a sinless perfect life
The one who can take from you all your struggles and strife
How can you hate the man who died for no reason except love
The only one who can open the door to heaven above

I pray that others can see the love He has for all society
That hardened hearts can soften as I make this plea
That nonbelievers can come to worship the tiny baby
Who came to earth for non other than you and me

Real Christmas Peace And Joy

Real Christmas Peace And Joy

Many have lost the meaning of Christmas
All across America, our dear nation.
They would like to leave Jesus Christ
Out of their Christmas celebration.

Commercialism says spend thousands,
And then you can have Christmas joy.
We feel like our dear precious child
Must have the latest, popular toy.

Everybody should love their children.
Giving them gifts is good and fine.
To know the true meaning of Christmas
Should be a goal for your kids and mine.

We don't have to compete with the world
To have a joyous Christmas season.
By putting Christ first in our Christmas,
We can celebrate for the right reason.

We can have peace and Christmas joy,
And it doesn't have to come from a store.
If we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts,
We can have inner peace forever more.

A PRAYER FOR YOU AT CHRISTMAS

A PRAYER FOR YOU AT CHRISTMAS

On a silent, holy night
Came Him who is Love and Light
He who was in a manger born
Is Jesus Christ - God's Son.

He brought peace, joy, and love
Showering men with grace from above
He came to teach us how to live
And how blessed it is to give.

So as we celebrate His birth
This is what I sincerely pray:
That Christ will rule in your heart
May you know Him better each day.

I pray you always remember
Every day of this December
That Jesus Christ is the reason,
The reason for the season.
And the angel said unto them, fear not: for behold,I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2 vs 10-11(KJV)

Christmas Star

Christmas Star

It was a dark and cold night
When a star so bright
Appeared high in the sky
And-oh-my
Angels announced to shepherds in a field
GOD will reveal
HIS plan to send a son
He will be the one
To save the world
And unfurl
HIS love for all

Dishes

Dishes

Dishes
They had a set of dishes
Given them when they wed ,
With luck and happiness and wishes
By loved ones ,who to them said
They wished they’d always be happy
As the moment when,”I will,”
Was said with so much rapture
That their hearts were standing still.

The dishes tell a lovely story
Of the lives they were to live _
How they shone in all their glory
When the very first forgive
Was whispered, and I love you truly ,
Which made things right again ,
For it was just as surely said ,
As sun comes after rain

Time as long since passed ,
Since they were first together ,
When he’d sit and ask her
If she loved him as no other –
And she was just content
With the answer in her heart ,
For she knew that it was meant
That they should never part ..

Although their lives had many scars
Like cracks upon the china ,
Their love outshone the mars ,
For it was only minor ,
If the one who’d done the wrong
Down in his heart had sorrow ,
For they never let the sun go down
Without a ,” Bright Tomorrow ,”

She’s an old lady now ,
And he is seventy-two ,
The cups and saucers wonder
What the other one will do ,
Until they both are able ,
To sit at God’s own perfect table ,
Be fed by His own hand

God Bless !
I wrote this poem about twenty years ago , I had just lost my dad . My mother was morning herself to dealt . My family was at it lowest . I sat at my computer ,an begin praying for answers . This poem was the answer that was given to me . This help my mother get through it . My mother  is 94 years old . A few years ago my brother died ,and again I cry out to My Lord . That when I start writing this blog . This has been God answer to me . It has been a blessing to me . So many times people email me or met me in person and has told me , that they were about to take their own life .And something I wrote change their minds . I guess what I trying to say is . That I pray before I write these poems ,or short stories not on my own but I believe God is giving them to me . He is saying to each and everyone of us ,I LOVE YOU and I know what you are going through .I am not a smart man or a great writer. I just love God with all my heart . If anyone need me just feel free to call on me . It  another Christmas my mother died a few years ago  . Soon  it will be my  turn  to meet my Jesus .

Your Arrow

Your Arrow

Let my aim be sure
As my heart be pure
When I fire Your Arrow
To save those in sorrow

Your Mighty Arrow
Of deliverance
Removes sorrow
And brings repentance

Your Arrow of Victory
By Your Authority
Brings Love and Mercy
And indeed Grace it does carry

Everyday is Thanksgiving

Everyday is Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a special day we celebrate each year
When friends and family meet and gather especially near

A day of remembrance for the blessings we've received
A day for thanking the Almighty one in whom we believe

The first Thanksgiving was celebrated at Plymouth Rock
When the Pilgrims made a feast from their meager stock

And took the time to thank God for seeing them through thus far
And I'm sure they thanked Him for heaven and earth and His guiding stars

They had survived many a hardship over their first year
And thought it time to celebrate with merriment and cheer

They knew that God was the source of all of their good fortune
And that they must give thanks for all the blessings they had gotten

So once a year we celebrate Thanksgiving Day so dear
But really we should celebrate each and every day of the year

For God so richly blesses us each and every day of our lives
If not for him, not only would we not survive, we would never thrive

So each day when you rise to greet the morning sun
Have yourself a Thanksgiving Day for all that God hath done

Lord, We Give You Thanks...

Lord, We Give You Thanks...

Lord, we give You thanks, for the bounty of this land,
As you have touched the earth, with the power of Your hand,
Causing grain to flourish, giving forth our daily bread,
Love's provision for Your children, that we are always fed.

Lord, we give You thanks, for the fruit of the tree,
Whose seed is in itself; a wondrous mystery of Thee...
And for the horn of plenty, overflowing from the fields,
The fatness of the earth, and the harvest that it yields.

Lord, we give You thanks, for the sun that's in the sky,
For the seasons of the moon, and the dew that falls from high.
For the hills watered from Your chambers, as You satisfy the earth,
Then send forth Your warmth, to nourish its rebirth.

Lord, how great are your works! In wisdom You made all,
To heed Your mighty voice, and hearken to Your call.
We praise You Precious Father, today and every day!
Please bless our time together, as we bow our heads and pray.

Lord, we give You thanks, for our family and our friends,
As we gather in Your Name, please help us comprehend,
That every good and perfect gift, is from Your Throne Above,
That we may see Your glory, and be nourished by Your Love!

Be Still

Be Still . . .

Be still, my soul, be at peace,
let not thy worries overcome.
Be still, and know He is your God,
and will . . . your heart strings . . . strum.

Be still, my heart, and let go,
let surrender be thy sweet release.
Be still, and know God's saving power,
to eternity, can never fail or cease.

Be still, my mind, and give Him thy all,
let thy weakness take you to your knees.
Be still, and know of God's sufficiency,
where His glory, surpasses all thy needs.

Be still, my spirit, admit thy defeat,
let thyself dwell on things from above.
Be still, and know He is in control,
and be strengthen, by and in His love.

Be still, my soul, be at peace,
let Him complete in thee His perfect will.
Be still, and know He is your God,
and will . . . your heart strings . . . still.
Psalm 46:10

Jesus, A True Friend

Jesus, A True Friend

Jesus gives great peace
in a time of war
always there to help
the needy soul and poor
Jesus will never fail you
when you need His guiding hand
He'll pick you up and carry you
till you reach the promised land

Jesus never fails, His love will carry you
He is ever faithful and a friend so true

Jesus will always love
and never forsake you
Even when the sea is stormy,
He'll see you through
Jesus has all power
to give the victory
He already conquered the enemy
on the cross of Calvary

Jesus never fails, His love will carry you
He is ever faithful and a friend so true

Jesus is never bitter
His love is true and strong
You can always count on him
to never do you wrong
Jesus' love is always constant
and steady to the end
In Him you could never find
A more truer friend

He's Still There

He's Still There

When troubles come our way,
And sorrows seem to stay,
And our blessings seem so bare,
Our God reigns! He's still there!

When storms howl all night,
And nothing turns out right,
And it seems that life's not fair,
Our God reigns! He's still there!

When the storm clouds roll away,
And we see the light of day,
Yes, it seems that He doth care.
Our God reigns! He's still there!

When we're on the mountain top,
It seems the blessings do not stop,
And our blessings we want to share,
Our God reigns! He's still there!

Our God is there all the time,
If we're rich or have not a dime,
In good health or in great despair,
Our God reigns! He's still there!

Be Not Vengeful

Be Not Vengeful

Do not be vengeful,
don’t try to get even
do not hold a grudge
for any kind of reason.

Do not be spiteful,
don’t be merciless
do not be cruel
or become heartless.

Do not be resentful,
don’t be envious
don’t be embroiled
in others pettiness.

Do not be hateful,
don’t be critical
do not be unforgiving
nor become cynical.

Do not be vengeful
don’t hold a grudge
for God one day . . .
every thought will judge!
Leviticus 19:18

“Thou shalt not avenge,
nor bear any grudge
against the children
of thy people,
but thou shalt
love thy neighbour
as thyself: I am the Lord.”

Turning the Tables

Turning the Tables

We come to Him with empty hands
And lame in both our feet
In rags before the righteous King
To face His judgment seat

With sin-stained hands and guilty pleas
As dead dogs we do lie
Requesting mercy as we claim
Your servant now am I

Indeed how just the King would be
To put us in our place
Express the fullness of His wrath
Instead, He offers grace

Forgiv’ness for repentant hearts
Who’ve come to Him in faith
Before the throne a place is set
To dine before His face

With such a gift we now draw near
Invited to His table
Partaking of the bread and cup
For by the Lord we’re able

The tables have been turned for those
He loves and calls His own
Once far away enslaved to sin
Now near and fully known

Bearing Good Fruit

Bearing Good Fruit

Faith that is voiced,
faith that is shared
is a faith that knows
good fruit it’s to bear.

Faith that is productive,
faith that is fruitful
is a faith God makes
for His kingdom useful.

Faith that is spoken,
faith that is conveyed
is a faith that God needs
so hearts can be swayed.

Faith that is ministering,
faith that is life-saving
is a faith in Jesus
worthy of our embracing.

Faith that is hidden,
faith that we don’t share
is a faith in God . . . .
leading others no where!
James 2:17

“Even so faith,
if it hath not works,
is dead, being alone.”

Matthew 7:16-20

“Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns,
or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree
bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree
bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree
bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth
not forth good fruit
is hewn down, and cast
into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits
ye shall know them.”

Choose Love

Choose Love

The fighting cools but hatred rules
The crowded streets as temper heats.
The ridicules of thoughtless fools
Bring endless tweets as hate defeats.

But is it right that we should fight
A war of skin that love can win?
Yet we incite an evil plight;
In anger sin from hate within.

When battles start our senses part.
Let’s take a break for heaven’s sake.
Let hate depart from hurting heart
And claim the ache of past mistake.

Our past contains the bloody stains
And vicious roars of countless wars,
But love remains and hatred wanes
When grace restores and mercy pours

From man of woes, for once he chose,
Instead of fight with heaven’s might,
To take the blows in painful throes
And shine his light into the night.

Then evil cursed with dying thirst,
Yet he refused, with body bruised,
To bring his worst, let anger burst;
Instead excused as they abused.

So could we dare when tempers flare
To look ahead, leave thoughts unsaid?
When life’s unfair let’s kneel in prayer.
Before blood’s shed, choose love instead.

I Am My Brother's Keeper .

I Am My Brother's Keeper . . .

I am my brother's keeper,
I help him to understand
that God wants him to put
his whole life in His hand.

I am my sister's keeper,
I help her to see the light
I encourage her to grow
and keep Jesus in her sight.

I am my neighbor's keeper,
I pray for their families needs
I support them to always listen
and follow where God leads.

I am my mother's keeper,
in her old age I help her out
I hold her hand when lonely
and keep away her doubt.

I am my father's keeper,
I lift to God his very soul
I pray every day and night
that God will make him whole.

I am my children's keeper,
I listen to their concerns
I pray as they become adults
God's will, they can discern.

The Lord is my keeper,
I pray to Him every day
to bring me anyone I can help
as I go about His way.
Genesis 4:9

Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is
Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not
know. Am I my brother's keeper?"

If We Are To Have Hope

If We Are To Have Hope

If we are to have hope,
in what we can’t see
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t trust more in Thee?

If we are to have patience,
while for Your return we await
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t keep to the straight gate?

If we are to have faith,
that Your Kingdom is coming
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t keep faithfully running.

If we are to have perseverance,
even though You may tarry
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t our own cross carry?

If we are to have hope,
if we are to trust and believe
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t keep our eyes on Thee?
Romans 8:25

“But if we hope for that we see not,
then do we with patience wait for it.”

As I’ve Walked Thru Life

As I’ve Walked Thru Life

I’ve learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life .
I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with
loving words .It may be the last time you see them .
I’ve learned that we are responsible for what we do no matter how we feel .
I’ve learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you .
I’ve learned that heros are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done regardless of the consequences
I’ve learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time
I’ve learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up .
I’ve learned that true friendship continues to grow ‘even over the longest distance .
I’ve learned that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have .
I’ve learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less top do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated .
I’ve learned that no matter how good a friend is , they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that .
I’ve learned that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others , sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself
I’ve learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are , but we are responsible for who we become .
I’ve learned that just because two people argue ,it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other and just because they don’t argue ,it doesn’t mean they do .
I’ve learned that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends chang .
I’ve learned tht two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different .
I learned that even when you think you have no more to give ,when a fiend cries out to you ,you will find the strength to help
I’ve learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being .
I’ve learned that the people you care about most in life are taken from too soon .
I’ve learned that family and friends are what make us who we are today ,and without them we would never be complete .

The Old rugged cross

  1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
    The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
And I love that old cross where the Dearest and Best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
    • Refrain:
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
      Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it someday for a crown.
  2. Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
    Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.
  3. In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
    A wondrous beauty I see,
For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
    To pardon and sanctify me.
  4. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
    Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me someday to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I’ll share.

Humbled by Your Majesty

Humbled by Your Majesty

Lord, Your awesome beauty, takes my breath away!
I could stand here in Your Presence, for ever and a day,
For when I see Your glory, that covers all the earth,
I bow before Your Throne, humbled by my worth.

Only You could make the mountains, that tower to the sky,
Standing in majestic splendor, as the clouds float gently by.
Only You can stop the oceans from spilling o'er the shore,
As they crash upon the rocks, returning back for more.

Only You could send the rain, to refresh the thirsty land,
Sent from heaven's river, by the power of Your hand.
Only You can lift the sun, to rise above the plain,
With sparkling rays of light, to warm the fields of grain.

When I consider Thy heavens, and the work of Thy Hand,
The moon and the stars, which Thou hast set above the land.
What is man, that Thou, art mindful of his worth?
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth!

For man cannot compare to the glory of creation,
A paradise, unequaled, of the highest aspiration.
Yet, You gave Your Only Son, for our spiritual rebirth,
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth!!!

God Of The Hopeful

God Of The Hopeful

God of the watchful,
Lord of the heart
establish Your ways
upon a new day’s start.

God of the trustful,
Lord of the soul
gives us Your strength
our day be in control.

God of the faithful,
Lord of the mind
may your peace
today we again find.

God of the hopeful,
Lord of our life
give us the courage
to give You our strife.

God of the watchful,
Lord of the heart
from Your righteous way
today, may we not part!
Psalm 31:24

“Be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen
your heart, all ye that
hope in the Lord.”

The Invitation . .

The Invitation . .

There is an invitation,
I would like to give to you
a special request . . .
that I think you should do.

I want to appeal to you,
to come and meet my Friend
He is someone you will like
if time with Him ~ you'll spend.

He is as gentle, as He is kind,
He is meek ~ yet very strong
He is the kind of companion
you'll always want to take along.

He will never disappoint you,
or turn His back on you
with Him all things are possible
there isn't anything He can't do.

His love is unconditional,
for it's full of mercy and grace
there is no limit to the amount
that you choose to embrace.

I know He wants to meet you,
for He has placed you on my heart
and I know that it's your sin . . .
that's keeping, the two of you apart.

So, won't you accept my invitation,
to meet this Friend of mine
He is Jesus, my Lord and Savior
and I pray God's gift ~ you'll not decline!
Romans 6:23
King James Version

"For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God Of The Hopeful

God Of The Hopeful

God of the watchful,
Lord of the heart
establish Your ways
upon a new day’s start.

God of the trustful,
Lord of the soul
gives us Your strength
our day be in control.

God of the faithful,
Lord of the mind
may your peace
today we again find.

God of the hopeful,
Lord of our life
give us the courage
to give You our strife.

God of the watchful,
Lord of the heart
from Your righteous way
today, may we not part!
Psalm 31:24

“Be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen
your heart, all ye that
hope in the Lord.”

If We Know

If We Know

If we know . . .
all things work for our good
then why don’t we trust God
like we know we should?

If we know . . .
together things will work out
then why don’t we trust God
instead of having doubt?

If we know . . .
with God all things are possible
then why don’t we trust God
with what is impossible?

If we know . . .
our life’s are in God’s control
then why don’t we trust God
with the things of the soul?

If we know . . .
and God we truly love
then why aren’t we willing
our fears to let go of?
Romans 8.28

If We Are To Have Hope

If We Are To Have Hope

If we are to have hope,
in what we can’t see
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t trust more in Thee?

If we are to have patience,
while for Your return we await
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t keep to the straight gate?

If we are to have faith,
that Your Kingdom is coming
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t keep faithfully running.

If we are to have perseverance,
even though You may tarry
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t our own cross carry?

If we are to have hope,
if we are to trust and believe
why is it then Lord . . .
we don’t keep our eyes on Thee?
Romans 8:25

“But if we hope for that we see not,
then do we with patience wait for it.”

My Vision

My Vision

I have a hope;I have a vision,
Since my soul made a decision.
I saw the Christ once lifted high,
On Calvary's cross I heard Him cry.
'Forgive them Father was His plea.'
A thief cried out 'remember me'.
This man too just felt his sin,
The perilous state that I was in.
A history a reputation,
One who fell to each temptation.
The cloud removed I now could see,
Nailed pierced hands had set me free.
Now in Christ a new creation,
A citizen of one holy nation.
Breathing in Gods word of life,
A man of peace no longer strife.
Now risk I'll take, ignore derision,
Win men for Christ, fulfill my vision

Forgiven By Jesus

Forgiven By Jesus

The reason I love Jesus
is because he has forgiven me so much
My sins, which were many,
he washed away with his miraculous touch.

He told me to "go in peace,"
and by faith I was made whole
When I trusted him with my heart,
he saved my soul.

Because of his forgiveness,
I can talk to him and love him so,
have fellowship with his sufferings
and his wisdom know

It's all because Jesus forgave my sins,
not in part, but all
and throughout my pilgrim journey
I am listening for his call.
Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Luke 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace.

I Still Stand For The Pledge

I Still Stand For The Pledge

During the pledge to the American Flag,
Some people refuse to stand these days.
They show disrespect for our nation's flag
As they try to protest in so many ways.

This always makes me feel so sad,
For I love our nation's flag, you see.
May we continue to fly Old Glory
Over the land of the brave and free.

I received a folded American Flag
When my Dad was laid to rest
Because he served our great nation
Among some of the military's best.

I keep that special American Flag
In my home in a special place.
This flag is so very precious to me.
I display it in a nice glass case.

I was taught to love God and country
And to respect our nation's flag too,
So I will still stand as we pledge
Allegiance to the Red, White, and Blue.

Cleansed!

Cleansed!

Forgiveness divine,
repent and receive
the beauty of grace
when you believe.

Bathe in His mercy,
pardoning and free
healing and restoring
until all of eternity.

Washed of your sin,
released from shame
when you trust Jesus
nothing is the same.

Healing compassion,
immersion of love
blood of the Son
a gift from above.

Forgiveness divine,
today is the day
mercy and grace
is just a prayer away!
1 John 1:9
King James Version

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Heaven's Serenade

Heaven's Serenade

Hark, can you hear it?
Borne on the breeze
Rustling the cornfields
Brushing the trees
Rippling the waters
Touching my cheek
Heavenly music
Subtle and sweet

Wait, can you hear it?
Soft breath in your ear
Whispers from Heaven
Tender and dear
In every rainbow
In each little flower
Wait, do you hear it?
Infinite power

Hush, do you hear it?
Silent reflection
Tuning our heart-strings
To Heaven's perfection
Written in scarlet
At Calvary
A holy love song
For you and me

Oh, do you hear it
Like a soft violin
Trickles of mercy
Let His song in
Oh, do you hear it?
His sweet serenade
A holy love song
Heaven-made

America's Flag

“ America’s Flag “
Fifty stars for fifty states
Of which we can be proud
Thirteen stripes, of red and white
Our flag doth cry aloud
Do not threaten me it cries
I am the symbol of a country great
We will not run, we will not hide
We are the United States
We are a country of freedoms
We will fight, we will not bend
Our men and women proudly serve
Till all wars are at an end
Do not try to frighten us
You cannot break down our door
You cannot kill tradition
Other countries have tried before
As I wave I give this warning
We are a country that stands tall
I am a flag that stands for freedom
I am the flag that will not fall
God Bless our Troops and God Bless America!
