In Christ Jesus

In Christ Jesus

I am so very happy and glad today,
For all my sins are washed away!
They are under the blood of the Lamb.
I stand justified before the great I Am.

I am in Christ, my Lord and Savior.
I am happily living in God's favor.
I will witness for Him in every place,
Telling others of His saving grace.

I love Christ Jesus with all my heart.
For Him, I want to always do my part.
I strive to be more like Him every day
In how I behave and in what I say.

For my Lord, I want to be on fire,
For serving Him is my utmost desire.
The inner joy I have will not cease.
Being in Christ gives wonderful peace.

Praise Sends the Enemy Running
Since praise manifests God’s presence, we also realize that praise repels the presence of the enemy, Satan. An atmosphere which is filled with sincere worship and praise to God by humble and contrite hearts is disgusting to the Devil. He fears the power in the name of Jesus, and flees from the Lord’s habitation in praise. “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God” (Psalms 50:23).
When the children of Judah found themselves outnumbered by the hostile armies of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, King Jehoshophat and all the people sought the Lord for His help. The Lord assured the people that this would be His battle. He told them to go out against them, and He would do the fighting for them. So what did the children of Judah do? Being the people of “praise” (Judah actually means Praise), and knowing that God manifests His power through praise, they sent their army against their enemies, led by the praisers!
So on they went, ahead of the army declaring, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endureth forever!” And the scripture says, “...when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten” (2 Chronicles 20:22).
When God’s people begin to praise His name, it sends the enemy running! I challenge you to become a person of praise, and you will experience the release of the power of God

Number Please

Number Please

One day I had to make a call
To a business pal of mine
But though I called back all I got
Was a busy line

Next I called my doctor
And I heard someone say
"Oh, I am so sorry.
The doctor isn't in today

I called my Mom long-distance
Put all my quarters in the phone
A voice on a machine said
"Sorry, we're not home."

A lively game of telephone tag
It went on like that all day
It seemed that no-one cared to hear
A word I had to say

So I called my local company
A voice told me what to do
"If you have never bought from us
Please push button two

Please push button number three
If you have bought from us before
To speak to a real live person
Push button number four"

So I tried, but no-one answered
There was nothing to be done
Except to leave a message
So I pushed button number one

Thank God I have a Savior
Who is always there for me
I can always call to Him
And the call's toll-free

I can always reach Him
When I call to Him in prayer
There are no recorded messages
For He is always there

Would you like to call Him?
He'll answer one and all
Just open up your heart to Him
He's waiting for your call

Praise to God is a Lifestyle
All too often, praise to God is something that many people leave at church, an event that happens only when they come together with other Christians. However, praise should be a part of a believers lifestyle, inter-mingled as a part of their daily prayer-life. At work, in the car, at home in bed, or anywhere; praise to the Lord brings the refreshing of the Lord’s presence, along with His power and anointing. “...I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1).

Praise is an expression of faith, and a declaration of victory! It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome of all our circumstances (Romans 8:28). Praise is a “sacrifice,” something that we offer to God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but because we believe in Him and wish to please Him. “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Hebrews 13:15).

Another Book Written By The Heavenly Author

Another Book Written By The Heavenly Author

I was intricately woven upon Your heavenly loom
as You carefully knit me together in my mother’s womb.
In that most secret of places when my conception took place
You prepared me for my birth and entry into the human race.

Before the first moment of my earthly existence began
You had written in Your book my inmost being and life plan.
Each syllable penned with words in calligraphy composed
as each sentence was handwritten and the paragraphs flowed.

From the first chapter of my birth to the last one of my death
each had been lovingly written before I'd taken a breath.
Praise You Lord that I am fearfully and wonderfully made
the handiwork of my Great Creator is in me displayed.

My life is like a book that can be read by everyone
because it tells of Your Grace and the wonders Jesus has done.
For in Your mercy, before the world was made and time began
You had included this poor child in Your great Salvation plan.

Fully Persuaded

Fully Persuaded

There is nothing,
that stands in my way
there is no one person
that'll cause me to sway.

For I've been won over,
I am certain and I'm sure
that for my sinful condition
there's only one cure.

Jesus is the remedy,
for all of my afflictions
nothing can move me
from my conviction.

Not the trials in this life,
nor the fact I'll decease
will cause my love for God
to ever decrease.

In good times or in bad,
in times of war or of peace
today or in the future
my assurance will not cease.

Not the storms out at sea,
nor the ones on the shore
could carry me away
from the God I adore.

If my world fell apart,
under a massive quake
my love for the Lord
it could not shake.

Nothing can separate me,
I cannot be dissuaded
in the love God has for me
I stand ~ fully persuaded!

Romans 8:38-39
King James Version

"For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life,nor angels,nor principalities,
nor powers,nor things present, nor
things to come,Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which
is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The New Jerusalem

The New Jerusalem

A vision clear is what I see
A holy place,our destiny
The presence of our holy God
Will walk with us on every sod

Magnificent, the holy gate
As I approach from worldly state
The presence off my heavenly King
I sense as I approach and sing

Gold and pearl hit my eye
The doors of heaven my name they cry
This place I enter built for me
My heart has heard the Lamb's decree

The presence of the holy dove
Is dwelling in this air of love
And everyone, they see the throne
We feel the Spirit ,it is our own

Our minds begin to comprehend
The beauty that will never end
This place of infinite reward
My God I see with holy sword

What do we see, these rays of light
Consuming fire that burns so bright
And everyone forever knows
That it won't fade, it always glows

We look to Him and hear a sound
Millions of souls they gather round
The words that flow are so complete
They stir my heart, I hear it beat

Angels in perfect unity
Cry, honour, glory, perfectly
As sounds of rushing waters flow
I see them flying to and fro

And all the children of the Lamb
Just gaze in wonder at "I Am"
Proclaiming Him in all our cries
We see there was no compromise

Exalted, seated, placed on high
The Son of Man will never die
His mighty plan is now complete
Creation worships at His feet
