Be No More Sad

Be No More Sad

Yes any time or any place,
We can approach the throne of grace.
We can unload a world of care,
And seek the face of God in prayer.

For everywhere our God is near,
A word " a whisper " He can hear.
What’s more our thoughts all rise before,
The throne of Him whom we adore.

Nor does our sin forbid access,
Or hinder God " our souls to bless;
For Christ our righteousness prevails,
His mediation never fails.

By faith draw nigh " pour out your soul,
And all your cares upon Him roll.
Then rise up saints " no more be sad
For God can make His children glad:
Yes God has made His children glad.

Indeed, He Hears

Indeed, He Hears

My prayer is that I'll not grow weary of praying for those on my list,
That I will lift them up daily, making sure that not even one is missed.
For at times it appears my prayers are in vain, but I know it's not true,
Thing is Lord, You are working in areas that could be only known to You.

Lord I'm sure there have been many believer's prayers that You've heard,
Who became discouraged when what they'd expected never occurred.
Yet Lord, some of those prayers from back then, are answered today,
Through time, You moved mountains that were standing in the way.

When on earth, Jesus prayed, setting an example for all mankind,
That as we go to The Father, there's complete trust in Him we'll find.
He knows our needs as He knows our hearts and all that is stored there,
Therefore we should be mindful of this as we go to Him in prayer.

Today, every time I pray, I believe that God will answer them all,
It'll be as He sees best, with perfect timing, when He hears my call.
For I know that He's never made a mistake and I know He never will,
Then since His Son became my Savior, my cup He's continued to fill.

He's Preparing Rooms

He's Preparing Rooms

Within the shadow of the Savior’s wings,
In a pavilion from the strife of tongues,
With His love, Christ quiets me by singing
As I climb Jacob’s ladder rung by rung.
Far above, in a mansion heavenly,
Rooms within Jesus is preparing for.
It’s there my Savior has a place for me,
He’s ever to the sheep an open door.
Seeking to honor His command I found
To keep His law was not within my reach.
Instead of feeling freedom I felt bound,
Until for His strength Him I did beseech.
For all accursed Jesus bled in agony,
I’ve His finished work upon the cross for me.

Glory Awaits Us

Glory Awaits Us

The trials are many, and enemies are great,
But glory awaits us, just beyond the gate.
Eternal life, its free and can’t be earned,
But other things to work for are discerned.

The scripture speaks, and saints have often heard,
Of those who honor God in deed and word,
Commended greatly for the race they’ve run,
Crowned at last and blessed with a “well done.”

Those who are saved but selfish, shall survive,
To heavens joys, by grace they shall arrive,
But their life on earth, it’s deemed a waste,
The things they loved and lived for are erased.

If in our generation we are wise,
To faithfulness and fruit, we shall arise,
All our time and talent to invest,
That our life and work may pass the test.

A chance to serve this earthly life affords,
A faithful life our gracious God rewards.
To serve him and walk faithfully each day,
Leads to blessedness along the way.
