When the wine runs out

When the wine runs out

When the wine runs out and all seems so bleak.
To whom shall we go and who shall we seek?
When the options are gone and all seems lost,
how shall we get more and who'll pay the cost?

When life runs short and our days are numbered.
When times are difficult and we feel encumbered.
Let's go to Jesus and all our burdens share.
Tell Him all our problems and leave them there.

When hope seemed so hopeless, and all seems lost
nothing seems possible and too great the cost.
God’s wonderful promise we can believe.
Let’s reach out to Jesus and His love receive.

For there on the cross with arms opened wide
“I love you so dearly,” The Lord Jesus cried.
“All is forgiven for I've paid the price
and you've been redeemed by my sacrifice.”
Matthew 11 : 28 “ Come to me , all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest “

What's It All About

What's It All About

Some are a little conflicted
About saying the sinner's prayer
No worries for God is smiling
He loves the heart laid bare.

But will Jesus walk into a heart
Just because of a simple prayer?
Again I say no worries dear ones
I believe God is already there.

No one knows your heart like God
If with Him you truly long to be
Christ gives the invitation to all
"Come live in Me," says He.

"But of Him you are in Christ Jesus
Who became wisdom for us from God"
Though not a prayer, but a walk
Down the rugged path Jesus trod.

You are in Him and He in you!
Words of hope and glory, I shout!
For He is able and I am not!
That's what the Christian life's all about.

Early Morning

Early Morning

Youth, it will always seek the morn
Drawn in awe to the rising sun
Make ready to begin another day
The work, the cause, not yet done.

The early morning belongs to these
They stand amazed at the sight
Knowing God has gifted them again
Courageously push aside the night.

Whispering another thankful prayer
A tiny glow begins the morning hour
When the sun brilliantly lights the sky
There is no doubt of His mighty power.

Youth, it always seeks the morn
Cherishing those days now passed
Slowly, peacefully the sun will set
Youth though wonderful cannot last.

The early morning may shift in time
And one day you might watch the sun
Then follow it lazily, hiss into the sea
Though your work is still not done.

Our God has gifted you, gifted you
Much more than you could ever see
When the sun sets, I give thanks
For the friend you are to me.

Someday I wish to walk the shore
But in the early morning, I rest
Find me gazing at the setting sun
The time of day I love the best.

Time---Oh you are blessed with time
So, praise Him in the early morn!
God smiled when He gave you more
Remembers the day you were born.
Psalm 113:3 “ From the rising of the sun to it’s  going down .
The Lord is to be praised .

The Crossroad

The Crossroad

We're each met with a crossroad
On our earthly sojourn;
A road that's scarcely traveled
And another that's well worn.

You see, I have full pound a map,
That speaks of great reward,
But you must take the journey
Requiring the sword.

You'll venture down a passage
In need of some paving.
Many claim to walk this path
That few are really braving.

At first you will have many
Walking along with You,
But as the road gets narrow,
The crowd gets smaller too.

This road has many briefs
For snakes to hide inside.
With a path so hard to cross,
You'll surely need as guide.

I've found this man named Jesus,
And I can call Him friend,
Who lights the way before you
And walks with you 'til the end.

He'll recognize each mountain
And every narrow combe.
Who better to guide us to head's
Than the one who calls it home?

So now you're at the crossroad.
Which one will you choose?
Easy road of no reward,
Or one most would refuse?

When all prophesy becomes history

When all prophesy becomes history

When all prophesy becomes history
then there will be no need for mystery.
When Christ has come like a thief in the night
and believing faith has turned to sight.

With a great command and a trumpet call
then the Lord will appear before us all.
As heaven opens wide and Jesus bursts through
coming to earth to collect me and you.

For then the Day of the Lord will be here.
and in the sky we will see Him appear
The promised Lord Jesus Christ will have come
to take the Christians with Him back home.

Then He will begin His eternal reign
when Christians have left this earthly plain,
Then forever with the Lord we shall be
secure in Christ for all eternity.
