Spirit Jesus

SPIRIT JESUS

Spirit Jesus
Shadow Of The Hummingbird
The light was off to the right side of me.
The Angel had my attention first.
He appeared just to my left.
Forty feet tall his wings folded around HIM
like a man wears a cloak.
A Helmet on HIS head.
He does not need his SWORD.
The Sword was hidden under wings so nice.
The light was not from this world but
portal in the center of the universe.
The place eye want to go when leaving mortal coil.
Otherworldly experience was natural unto me.
This mourning this very day eye did see GOD.
Inn the shadow of the hummingbird that winked at me
with wings beating imppossibly quickly so fastly.
The Spirit of the LORD who lives in every creature.
And loves us every one of us no matter what we have done.
He was in the Angel of the SON last nite that visited me.
And then in the hummingbird that winked at me again HE loved me.
Inn the shadow of the little thing is where eye saw my GOD.
We are all just living inn the shadow of GOD's SON.

Crucified with Jesus

Crucified With Jesus

I am crucified with Jesus,
It is no more I who live,
I am well content with weakness,
Perfect power to receive,
And the life He now lives in me
Is my only righteousness.
Jesus gave His own self for me,
How can I desire less?

When my soul goes down to Egypt
To indulge in worldly thought,
And I’m living for my pleasure,
Not for Him by whom I’m bought,
May He rescue me from bondage
With His title to forgive.
Since I’m crucified with Jesus,
My own life I cannot live.

When I’m feasting on the manna
From my Savior’s vast array
In the holy heav’nly places
Where His blood has made a way,
How the old things are supplanted
By the new in Christ my Lord.
Crucified and raised with Jesus,
Wondrous life in me outpoured!

When I see the One who loves me
In His splendor on the throne,
Any glory He bestows me
Will be His and not my own,
And the scars of my Redeemer
Will outshine the crowns for me.
I am crucified with Jesus,
Linked to Him eternally.

God's Face

God's Face

God's Face

We have no need to see God's face
The presentation given to every child and every race.

God has placed before us master works of love
From deserts to mountains and a cooing dove.

To select out of billions our gift of sun
Like a face of God, the holy eternal one.

Rivers to lakes and the oceans wide
Twins of love as groom and bride.

Harvest to plant and keep
Giver of rain and time to sleep.

An earthly gem suspended in the sky
Gifts of our children and never to ask why.

All we are and all we hope to be
Reflected in all of God's children to give thanks to thee.

Happy New Year 2008

Happy New Year,2008

Born is A New Year!
Gone is an old year;
Let’s add new cheer,
Live without fear.

Greet your neighbors;
Greet some strangers;
Greet all your friends;
And make amends.

’Tis never late
To change one’s fate;
Problems abate:
Wait for that date.

Forget past woes;
Forget chaos;
With hope, of course:
Thus, our life goes.

Abide in God;
Await His nod;
Avoid His rod,
And thank the Lord.

When God's with us,
There is no curse;
Walk without fuss;
He sure will bless.

Eighteenth Sunday after Trinity

Eighteenth Sunday After Trinity

It is so--ope thine eyes, and see -
What viewest thou all around?
A desert, where iniquity
And knowledge both abound.

In the waste howling wilderness
The Church is wandering still,
Because we would not onward press
When close to Sion's hill.

Back to the world we faithless turned,
And far along the wild,
With labour lost and sorrow earned,
Our steps have been beguiled.

Yet full before us, all the while,
The shadowing pillar stays,
The living waters brightly smile,
The eternal turrets blaze,

Yet Heaven is raining angels' bread
To be our daily food,
And fresh, as when it first was shed,
Springs forth the SAVIOUR'S blood.

From every region, race, and speech,
Believing myriads throng,
Till, far as sin and sorrow reach,
Thy grace is spread along;

Till sweetest nature, brightest art,
Their votive incense bring,
And every voice and every heart
Own Thee their God and King.

All own; but few, alas! will love;
Too like the recreant band
That with Thy patient spirit strove
Upon the Red-sea strand.

O Father of long-suffering grace,
Thou who hast sworn to stay
Pleading with sinners face to face
Through all their devious way:

How shall we speak to Thee, O LORD,
Or how in silence lie?
Look on us, and we are abhorred,
Turn from us, and we die.

Thy guardian fire, Thy guiding cloud,
Still let them gild our wall,
Nor be our foes and Thine allowed
To see us faint and fall.

Too oft, within this camp of Thine,
Rebellions murmurs rise;
Sin cannot bear to see Thee shine
So awful to her eyes.

Fain would our lawless hearts escape,
And with the heathen be,
To worship every monstrous shape
In fancied darkness free.

Vain thought, that shall not be at all!
Refuse we or obey,
Our ears have heard the Almighty's call,
We cannot be as they.

We cannot hope the heathen's doom
To whom GOD'S Son is given,
Whose eyes have seen beyond the tomb,
Who have the key of Heaven.

Weak tremblers on the edge of woe,
Yet shrinking from true bliss,
Our rest must be "no rest below,"
And let our prayer be this:

"LORD, wave again Thy chastening rod,
Till every idol throne
Crumble to dust, and Thou, O GOD,
Reign in our hearts alone.

"Bring all our wandering fancies home,
For Thou hast every spell,
And 'mid the heathen where they roam,
Thou knowest, LORD, too well.

"Thou know'st our service sad and hard,
Thou know'st us fond and frail;
Win us to be loved and spared
When all the world shall fail.

"So when at last our weary days
Are well-nigh wasted here,
And we can trace Thy wondrous ways
In distance calm and clear,

"When in Thy love and Israel's sin
We read our story true,
We may not, all too late, begin
To wish our hopes were new.

"Long loved, long tried, long spared as they,
Unlike in this alone,
That, by Thy grace, our hearts shall stay
For evermore Thine own."
