A Beautiful Exchange

A Beautiful Exchange

The cry of the Cross
Through bloodshed and pain
God's mercy triumphant
My wretchedness exchanged.

Rivers of God's grace
Cleansing my soul
Freed from condemnation
Creating me whole

All my sin and guilt
Cast upon the tree
Absolutely dealt with
Provision made for me.

God wrath wholly satisfied
At the final heartbeat
Total acceptance
The sacrifice complete.

Through the blood of Jesus
My righteousness proclaimed
Torrential outpouring
My liberty now claimed

My Heart now beats with passion
Ancient days now strange
A glorious new beginning
In this Beautiful Exchange.

There's a place

There's a place

Close your eyes and let your imagination
roam,
To a place that you may one day call
home.
A land where you only think it comes in
a dream.
But actually it's the most beautiful
place you have ever seen.

There's a land that is far away,
A land I want to go and live someday.
A place I long to be,
Jesus said he was going away to prepare
it for me.

A land where I'll never grow old,
A place where I can rest my weary soul.
A land where all my tears will cease,
A land filled with love, joy and peace.

A land flowing with milk and honey,
A place where I don't have to worry
anymore about a house, car or
money.
A land where sickness and pain will
no longer abide,
A land where I can walk and talk with
Jesus physically by my side.
A land with no more drugs or homeless
people sleeping on the street.
No more hunger or people without shoes
on their.

In order to make it to this land,
You have to hold to Gods unchanging hand.
Read and do Gods holy word,
Don't go by what you see or what you
have heard.
If you go by what the bible say,
Then you will see that beautiful land
one day.

A Prayer For America

A Prayer For America

Dear God, please bless America.
Land of the brave and free.
Help us return our country
to a nation under Thee.

The minority amongst us,
are taking rights away.
In schools and public places,
we’re now not allowed to pray.

The motto of our country
boldly states, “In God we trust”,
yet prayer’s become forbidden.
What’s happening to us?

Let us not be governed
by the small ungodly few.
The atheists, agnostics ,
or the group, A.C.L.U.

But give us strength and courage
as we boldly stand and fight
to take our country back from them
and make what’s wrong be right.

May this great land, America ,
be under Thee again,
and may we be worthy of Thee,
we humbly pray…Amen

THEN AND NOW

THEN AND NOW

Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
v18. There is no fear of God before their eyes. (KJV)

THEN:
He led them to their promised land
where Father and children could joyfully live.
But how many times must a Father reprimand?
How many times must He forgive?

They were a stiff-necked, wayward people
stumbling around in their selfish haze,
a foolish idol-worshipping people
never learning from the error of their ways.

They were preoccupied with their own desires.
Their concern was the pursuit of selfish pleasure,
never thinking how they would spend eternity,
no thought given to winning heavenly treasure.

NOW:
It was true of the people who came before,
and is still true for some of us today.
Rather than lift grateful eyes toward Heaven,
some are choosing to look the other way.

The people of this world should be praising God
who gave us this land of milk and honey.
But we cannot have Him in our schools,
and there’s talk of removing Him from our money.

We often refuse to follow the Savior’s example,
though He taught us how we should live.
But how many times must a Father reprimand?
How many times must He forgive?

We are preoccupied with here and now pleasure.
We seek to indulge every personal whim.
But what will happen if He turns His back on us,
just as many have turned our backs on Him?

There are those who see signs of the times.
There are those in many congregations
who still pray for favor in His sight,
still pray He will preserve our nations.

We must not fall victim to damnation’s fate.
All people must wake up, before it’s too late.

Weather Report (Storms Of Sadness)

Weather Report (Storms Of Sadness)

Today there will be rainclouds
with intermittent tears.
We’ll have periods of sadness
until scattered heartache clears.

The dark clouds will hang over us
well into the night,
Continuing through tomorrow,
and no sunshine is in sight.

But wait…A satellite report
from Heavens tower above,
says conditions will improve,
through flurries of God’s love.

His great healing power
will make storms of sadness end.
If we’ll but put our faith in Him,
our sun will shine again.
