May you always have a Angel by your side

May you always have an angel by your side Watching out for you in all the things you do Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to take you to beautiful placesGiving you hope that is as certain as the sun Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide May you always have love and comfort and courage And may you always have an angel by your side May you always have an angel by your sideSomeone there to catch you if you fall Encouraging your dreams Inspiring your happiness Holding your hand and helping you through it all In all of our days, our lives are always changing Tears come along as well as smiles Along the roads you travel, may the miles be a thousand times more lovely than lonely May they give you the kind of gifts that never, ever end: someone wonderful to love and a dear friend in whom you can confideMay you have rainbows after every storm May you have hopes to keep you warm And may you always have an angel by your side

The Meaning Of Peace

The Meaning of Peace

There was once a king who offered a prize to the artist who
could paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried.
The king looked at all the pictures, but there were only two
that he really liked, and he had to choose between them.

One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror
for the peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was
a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture
thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The second picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged
and bare. Above was an angry sky from which rain fell, and in
which lightening played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled
a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.

But when the king looked, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny
bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird
had built her nest.... a perfect picture of peace.

Which of the pictures won the prize?

The king chose the second picture.

Do you know why?

"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a
place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work.
Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be
calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."

That is the REAL meaning of peace.

Only God can bring real peace

God Will Not Ask Me

God is not going to ask me how much I made.
He will ask me how much I gave.

God will not ask me about the size of my house.
He will ask me did I invite Him in.

God will not ask me about the elegance of the neighborhood.
He will ask me how I treated my neighbor.

God will not ask me what kind of car I drove.
He will ask me did I give those with no car a ride.

God will not ask me about the beauty of my wife.
He will ask me did I treat her with love.

God will not ask me about the style of my clothes.
He will ask me did I help clothe others.

God will not ask me the size of my bank account.
He will ask me how much is in my heavenly account.

God will not ask me how many children I fathered.
He will ask me if I was a good father to my children.

God will not ask me did I achieve fame.
He will ask me about my reputation.

God will not ask me if I traveled the world.
He will ask me did I improve the world.

God will not ask me about the troubles that I had.
He will ask me if I helped comfort the troubled.

God will not ask me if I did miracles in the name of His Son.
He will ask me if I really knew Him.

True Riches

You look at me as poor,
because I have no money left for frills.
But I am rich! My Father
owns the cattle on a thousand hills!
You think I'm unimportant,
for I have no earthly claim to fame.
But GOD, the maker of the universe,
knows me, and calls my name!

He gives me strength and comfort,
and He feeds my soul with living bread.
He gently binds my wounds,
even counts the hairs upon my head.

Although I'm just a sinner,
and could never pay Salvation's price,
God's Precious Lamb died in my place,
and thus became my sacrifice.

Yes, I am rich! And I am loved,
far more than earthly tongue can tell!
For I belong to Christ, my blessed LORD
Who conquered death and Hell.

And so I anxiously await the day
when I shall see His face.
And falling down in worship,
I will thank Him for His love and grace.

And there will be no tears or sorrow
in that home on Heaven's shore,
where I will live with JESUS, and will
praise Him ever more.

Things I Wish To Remenber

That it pays to forget those things that are behind .
That what I would do for Christ must needs be done for others.
That a good name is rather to be chosen than riches.
That the greatest thing in all the world is love .
That the way to find happiness is forget self .
That there is no happiness in things .
That a word once spoken can never be recalled .
That no suffering is too great if it contributes to the building and nurture of Christian character .
That to correct one fault in myself is greater than to correct ten in my neighbor .
That yesterday is gone forever ; tomorrow may never come ; today , only is mine .
That time is too precious to be used other than for God’s glory .

Mother Love

A mother’s love is something that no one can explain
It is made of deep devotion of sacrifice and pain ,
It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking .
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking …..
It believes beyond believing when the world condemns
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest , brightest gems
It is far beyond defining ,it defining ,it defies all explanation ….
A many splendored miracle, man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence of God’s tender guiding hand .

Love’s strength

Measure thy life by loss instead of gain,
Not by the wine drunk , but the wine pored forth ;
For love’s strength standeth in love’s sacrifice,
And whoso suffers most hath most to give.
For labor, the common lot of man,
Is part of the kind Creator’s plan;
And he is a king whose brow is wet
With the pearl-gemmed crown of honest sweat.
Some glorious day , this understood ,
All toilers will be a brotherhood,
With brain or hand the purpose is one,
And the Master-workman, God’s own Son .
