To any Daddy
There are little eyes upon you ,
And they’re watching day by day ;
There are little ears that surely
Take in every word you say ;
There are little hands all eager
To do everything you do .
There’s a little boy who’s dreaming
of the day he’ll be like you!

You’re that little fellow’s idol,
You’re the wisest of the wise .
In his little mind , about you
No suspicion e’er arise ;
He believes in you devoutly ,
Holds that all you sayor do
He will say and do , in your way ,
When he’s all grown up like you

There’s a wide-eyed little fellow
Who believes you’re always right ;
His keen ears are always open
To catch your words , day or night ,
You are setting an example ,
Every day , in all you do ,
For the little boy who’s wanting
to grow up to be like you .

In a for land and on an ancient day
The great throngs followed him : the One who came
And said , “I am the way ,“
And kindled in their hearts a leaping flame .
The tramping multitudes , the pressing throng ,
That sought him for their own swift sure release
From shackling ills ,or for some torturing wrong ,
Sought avidly to find their soul’s release .

Lord , Lord ,today the throngs still reach to touch
Thy garment’s hem across the lengthening years .
We have been hurt and troubled overmuch ,
Look down and heal our ills , and calm our fears .
Behold the multitude that seek thee , Lord ,
In church and field and lane of every land –
Speak peace once more , assure us through thy Word ,
And bless us with thy out-stretched healing hand .

I Meet God in the Morning

The earth is the Lord’s
and the fullness thereof ,
It speaks of His greatness ,
it sings of his love ,
And each day at dawning
I lift my heart high
And raise up my eyes
to the infinite sky …
I see the dew glisten
in crystal-like splendor
While God , with a touch
that is gentle and tender ,
Wraps up the night
and softly tucks it away
And hangs out the sun
to herald a new day ,
A day yet unblemished
by what’s gone before ,
A chance to begin
and start over once more ,
And all I need do
is to silently pray ,
God , help me and guide me
and go with me today.

Be of Good Cheer

Cheerful thoughts like sunbeams
lighten up the darkest fears
For when the heart is happy
there’s just no time for tears .
For the nature of our attitude
toward circumstantial things
Determines our acceptance
of the problems that life brings ,
And since fear and dread and worry
cannot help in any way ,
It’s much healthier and happier
to be cheerful every day .
For when the heart is cheerful
it cannot be filled with fear ,
And without fear the way ahead
seems more distant and clear .
And we realize there’s nothing
we need ever face alone ,
For our heavenly Father loves us
and our problems are His own

Best Day of My Life Ever !

Today , when I awoke , I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life , ever !
There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today ; but I did !

And because I did I’m going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far ; the accomplishments the many blessings ,yes ,even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger .

I will go through this day with my head held high, and a happy
heart . I will marvel at God’s seemingly simple gifts ; the morning dew , the sun the clouds , the trees , the flowers , the birds . Today , I’ll give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down . I’ll tell a child how special he or she is. .

Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don’t have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me . I’ll remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine .

And tonight , before I go to bed , I’ll go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens .I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon , and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures .

As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow , I will thank the Almighty God for the best day of my life .And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child , excited with expectation because I know tomorrow is going to be the best day of my life ,ever !

As I've Walked Thru Life

As I’ve Walked Thru Life

I’ve learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life .
I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with
loving words .It may be the last time you see them .
I’ve learned that we are responsible for what we do no matter how we feel .
I’ve learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you .
I’ve learned that heros are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done regardless of the consequences
I’ve learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time
I’ve learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up .
I’ve learned that true friendship continues to grow ‘even over the longest distance .
I’ve learned that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have .
I’ve learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated .
I’ve learned that no matter how good a friend is , they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that .
I’ve learned that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others , sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself
I’ve learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are , but we are responsible for who we become .
I’ve learned that just because two people argue ,it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other and just because they don’t argue ,it doesn’t mean they do .
I’ve learned that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change .
I’ve learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different .
I learned that even when you think you have no more to give ,when a friend cries out to you ,you will find the strength to help
I’ve learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being .
I’ve learned that the people you care about most in life are taken from too soon .
I’ve learned that family and friends are what make us who we are today ,and without them we would never be complete .
