Give it Jesus

Give it Jesus

A little boy was trying to roll a rock as his father watched from a distance. The boy was heaving and sighing, but he couldn't turn the stone over. His dad, with a smile said, " Son, are you using all of your strength?" He said, "Yes, Daddy, I'm using all my strength." And the father said, " No, you're not because you have not asked me to help you. My strength is your strength."

Sometimes we wrestle with problems and say, " I don't know what to do." Our Father wants us to say, "I've run out of my strength," and run into His. He is there. There is no problem too big for Jesus to solve. Do you believe that? I hope so.

Is there a problem too big for you to solve?

Give it to Jesus.

He can handle it.

Go Ye

Go Ye

Because my death has set you free
Because my blood has washed you clean
Because of my authority
Go ye

Because you freely did receive
Because my promise you believe
Because you see eternity
Go ye

Because I reign triumphantly
Because I’m of the trinity
Because of my divinity
Go ye

Because that I will never leave
Because I have commanded thee
Because all power is given to me
Go ye

As I’ve Walked Thru Life

As I’ve Walked Thru Life

I’ve learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life .
I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with
loving words .It may be the last time you see them .
I’ve learned that we are responsible for what we do no matter how we feel .
I’ve learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you .
I’ve learned that heros are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done regardless of the consequences
I’ve learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time
I’ve learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up .
I’ve learned that true friendship continues to grow ‘even over the longest distance .
I’ve learned that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have .
I’ve learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less top do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated .
I’ve learned that no matter how good a friend is , they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that .
I’ve learned that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others , sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself
I’ve learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are , but we are responsible for who we become .
I’ve learned that just because two people argue ,it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other and just because they don’t argue ,it doesn’t mean they do .
I’ve learned that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends chang .
I’ve learned tht two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different .
I learned that even when you think you have no more to give ,when a fiend cries out to you ,you will find the strength to help
I’ve learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being .
I’ve learned that the people you care about most in life are taken from too soon .
I’ve learned that family and friends are what make us who we are today ,and without them we would never be complete .

I’ve Known You Forever

I’ve Known You Forever

I’ve known you forever -- before you were made.
Before the foundations of earth had been laid;
before any oceans or lands were defined,
I numbered the beats of your heart I designed.

I made you in secret -- in your mother’s womb;
I formed you in love by the light of the moon.
Before you inhaled the first breath that you took,
I numbered the days of your life in my book.

All nations -- all peoples -- I’ve made every one;
I know every footstep and deed that’s been done.
I want you to want me whoever you are.
Endeavor to find me -- I’m not very far.

You’ve been in my arms since the day of your birth;
I’ll carry you home when you leave from this earth.
I am your creator -- your purpose is mine.
I’ve known you forever and loved you since time.

RARE IS THE FRIEND

RARE IS THE FRIEND

We all have acquaintances,
People we know.
We meet them and greet them,
Then we turn, and we go

At times we have friends,
With whom we can share
Our joys and our sorrow
And an occasional prayer

But rare is the one,
Who’s willing to stand,
Through struggles and heartaches,
With an outreached hand

And rare is the one,
Who has similar dreams.
Who encourages your ideas
And fanciful schemes

And rare is the one who,
Through test and through trial,
Keeps a joyful song,
And magical smile

So I thank God,
At the start of each day,
For Blessing me ...
By sending YOU this way!

Winter Still

Winter Still

An icy grip in winter still
The frozen pond ore yonder hill
Resemble my own frigid state
Among those who for Springtime wait

Perhaps my fevered, hurried pace
Has taken toll and does erase
The faithful calls of silence, shrill
Amid the quiet winter still

A thoughtful act to reminisce
Of what I gain, not what I miss
A sublime lesson for my will
To rest in God in winter still

Snow too shall pass as seasons do
All old and cold gives way to new
Lord help me not to rush and fill
But truly live in winter still

And now in Christ I trust to find
With open eyes that once were blind
A new God-given gracious thrill
In treasure laden winter still
