"There Shall Be No Night There"

"There Shall Be No Night There"

Have you ever been afraid of the dark?
At night do you fear to walk in the park?
We're afraid at night of some evil works.
We fear the darkness where evil lurks.

Some men love darkness rather than light.
They try to hide evil deeds at night.
In darkness we think we hide our sin.
We can't hide it from God, only from men.

"Outer darkness" also describes Hell.
Where saints of God will never dwell.
The opposite is Heaven, the place of light,
Where it's always day and never night.

Imagine a place where there is no night,
A place where there is continual light.
No darkness ever enters this great place.
There's no dark cloud, not even a trace.
