These Be My Offering
These be my offering today :
A smile to greet folk on my way ,
A hand to clasp a hand whose need
God has made plain , a golden seed
Of Truth that may rich harest bring
To one who may be sorrowing ,
And strength to lift another’s load
Should he falter on the road .

These be my offering today :
Prayer to be my steadfast stay ,
Love that may in Christ’s good stead
Sweeten another’s daily bread ,
Hope , that may with kindly cheer
Lift some heart oppressed by fear ,
And faith whose mighty staff and rod
Are strengthened by the hand of God .
These be my offerings . Though small ,
May His own kindness bless them all .
