A Thanksgiving Prayer
we thank Thee , God for blessings
The big ones and the small-
Thy tender love and mercy
That guards and keeps us all –

The fresh awakening of joy
That comes with morning light
Sunlit hours to fill the day
And restful sleep at night –

The hope , the beauty and the love
That brighten each day living -
We praise Thee –and our hearts are filled
With joy- and with thanksgiving

The pride that’s found in our work well done
The love of those who care
The peace of mind , that comes sweet content
That comes wit quiet prayer.
