Christ For All Seasons

      Christ For All Seasons

Winter would be cold and drab

Without God’s love to know ,

He keeps a glow of sunshine

In your heart , where ever you go .

And spring is unpredictable ,

It may be cold or fair ,

But Jesus’ love is constant ,

You can find it everywhere .

In summer when it’s parched and hot ,

The sun can take its toll ,

Yet you can find a spring

Of living water for your soul .

In fall when leaves have fallen

Everything is stark and bare  ,

But the riches of God’s word

Is within reach for you to share .

Our Father never leaves us ,

We can always find Him near ,

With His presence there is comfort

Any season of the year .

Faith , Hope , and Love part 2

Faith, Hope, and Love

He went around preaching to the nations
He had no doubt the Father was with Him
He did miracles to God’s creation
Delivered them of demons, delivered them of sin
Yeah there were difficult times for our Lord
Times where the Devil tried to win His soul
Our Lord faced temptations, everyday more
As He prayed, every day He was feeling more cold
Well, He knew what was about to come down
He knew there was no turning back now
He heard Demons’ and Angels’ sounds
He was tempted into getting Himself out
But the Father showed Him truthful love
Jesus couldn’t set Himself aside from love
He did all He could to receive His gift
Because of that now He sits with Him

He had faith…

The people from his birth town didn’t believe in Him
They said He was the carpenter’s son
They could never receive the slightest hint
That He was really the Son of God
But He knew that day would finally come
Where His family would be saved in the hands of God
He didn’t worry of their wrongs
He entered in the fire, all for love
He had great thoughts about the future
He knew He would be sitting at the right throne of God
It motivated Him to create better futures
So He won more souls for His Father God
He exercised faith in different places
People renounced Him and tore His heart
But He continued healing and changing faces
He didn’t stop from the minute He came to start

He had hope…

All of the Pharisees neglected Him
They just didn’t ever want to change
They thought that Jesus was covered in sin
But Jesus worked hard to change this age
He loves the souls that are looking hurt
It tore His heart when sick people cried
So much that on the Sabbath Days He worked
So people could receive the healing they wanted to find
He loved the Father, there’s no doubt
But He loved the people, no doubt too
His anger for the sin always made Him shout
And correct them, well, correction is love too
People thought that He was only there to judge
But He continued being there to love
He wouldn’t bother, wouldn’t budge
He had compassion for the sons and daughters of God

He had love…

Love , Hope and Faith

Love, Hope, and Faith

We live tomorrow
the dreams of today
Our hopes of the future
gives us faith along the way

Love is the river
of this wakened state
Its never out of time
its never too late

It gives us life
as it flows through our lives
It tears through confusion
loneliness and strife

Love cuts a clear path
through the test of time
You can see where it has been
and watch it unwind

Free as a river
that you can’t control
You can’t even say
where it might flow

Hope is a power
that cant be taken away
It can pull you through
even the toughest of days

Hope can keep you going
when everything else fails
It keeps you company
on the loneliest of trails

Faith is ever daring
in the face of defeat
It can bring you courage
that nothing can beat

Faith is never doubting
in yourself or your beliefs
Holding on to what you know
when content is just a dream

Faith can give you strength
to face what the future brings
Combined with hope and love
you only need the three of these

Love is like a River
Hope is like a dream
Faith is just believing
with nothing to be seen

So dream of tomorrow
and love for today
Hope with all your heart
Let faith show you the way

The Bargain

The Bargain

During one of the many battles of the era, a young soldier
found himself and his army being soundly defeated by the enemy.
He and his comrades hastily retreated from the battlefield in
defeat, running away in fear of their very lives.

The enemy gave chase. The young man ran hard and fast, full
of fear and desperation, and soon found himself cut off from
his comrades. The soldier eventually came upon a rocky ledge
containing a cave.

Knowing the enemy was close behind, and that he was exhausted
from the chase, he chose to hide there. After he crawled in,
he fell to his face in the darkness, desperately crying to
God to save him and protect him from his enemies. He made a
bargain with God. He promised that if God saved him, he would
serve Him for the remainder of his days.

When he looked up from his despairing plea for help, he saw a
spider beginning to weave its web at the entrance to the cave.
As he watched the delicate threads being slowly drawn across
the mouth of the cave, the young soldier pondered its irony.
He thought,

"I asked God for protection and deliverance, and He sent me
a spider instead. How can a spider save me?"

His heart was hardened, knowing the enemy would soon discover
his hiding place and kill him. Soon he did hear the sound
of his enemies, who were now scouring the area looking for
those in hiding.

One soldier with a gun slowly walked up to the cave's entrance.
As the young man crouched in the darkness, hoping to surprise
the enemy in a last-minute desperate attempt to save his own
life, he felt his heart pounding wildly out of control.

As the enemy cautiously moved forward to enter the cave, he came
upon the spider's web, which by now was completely strung across
the opening. He backed away and called out to a comrade,

"There can't be anyone in here. They would have had to break
this spider's web to enter the cave. Let's move on."

Years later, this young man, who made good his promise by
becoming a preacher and evangelist, wrote about that ordeal.

What he observed has stood by me in times of trouble, especially
during those times when everything seemed impossible:

"Where God is, a spider's web is as a stone wall.
Where God is not, a stone wall is as a spider's web."

That Beautiful Land Called Heaven

   That Beautiful Land  Called Heaven

I read of a land more fair than this,

It’s free from sin and shame ,

It is a land of perfect bliss ,

Where none are sick or lame .

It is a land forever free

     From disappointed sad ;

Where all the saints in love agree

In things that make them glad .

It is a land where strife will end ,

Where greed and pride will cease ,

Where all will join in heart and hand

     In universal peace ,

It is a land of true success ,

Where all are doing well ,

Where all rejoice and praise the Lord ,

Who saved their souls from hell.

It is a land of no regrets

That cast their shadows round .

It is a bright and happy land .

In which no clouds are found .

The unkind word will never sting

       Within this land above ,

For all will speak like Christ their King ,

The King of peace and love .

Here broken hearts will all be healed ,

And friends will part no more .

Eternal joys are here revealed

     On those celestial shores .

Through countless ages onward roll ,

     Its pleasures never cease .

Then let the Christ into your soul,

And share His eternal peace .

I Love To Steal Awhile away

I Love To Steal Awhile away

I love to steal awhile away
From every cumbering care ,
And spend the hours of setting day
In humble ,grateful prayer .

I love in solitude to shed
The penitential tear ,
And all his promises to plead ,
Where none but God can hear .

I love to think on mercies past ,
And all my cares and sorrows cast
On him whom I adore .

I love by faith to take a view
Of brighter scenes in heaven ;
The prospect doth my strength renew ,
While here by tempest driven

Thus ,when life’s toilsome day is o’ver ,
May its departing ray
Be calm as this impressive hour ,
And lead to endless day .

A Sure Way to A Happy Day

A Sure Way to A Happy Day

Happinness is something we create in mind ,

It’s not something we search for and seldom find ,

IT’S JUST waking up and beginning the day

By counting our blessing and kneeling to pray ,

It’s giving up thoughts that breed discontent

And accepting what comes as a grift heaven-sent,

It’s giving up wishing for things we have not

And making the best of  whatever we’ve got ,

It’s knowing that life is determined for us ,

And pursuing our tasks without  fret ,fune , or fuss ,

For it’s by completing what God gives us to do

That we find real contentment and happiness ,too .
