He Who keeps you

You shall go under
My cleanings again.
Yes, you shall wonder
At sorrow and pain
And lightning and thunder
And torrents of rain;
But still I shall hold you
And keep you alive
And closely enfold you
In wings that revive.
Yes, you may stumble
And yes, you may fall -
But I who am humble
Am Lord over all.
