V-J Day

V-J Day

My calendar program lists today as a little known day called V-J
Day.

Victory over Japan Day (also known as Victory in the Pacific Day,
V-J Day, or V-P Day)

The U.S. and its allies celebrate the victory of the surrender of
Japan in 1945 during World War II.

In Japan the day is officially known as "the day for mourning of
war dead and praying for peace."

As a Minister or businessperson you will see a lot of fights and
war. You see death of relationships and spirit. You see fields
and factories destroyed economically which is just as effective
as a bomb. You see irreconcilable differences. You see hate and
strife and sometimes even bloodshed.

I pray for peace... in all forms and wars.

May God Bless each and everyone ,
Jan Bagwell
