Pride or Sacrifice

Pride or Sacrifice

On my own
I tried to win
But I fell down
Due to sin

No matter how
Hard I tried
I know now
That it was pride

There is
No other way
But to accept
His Way

Only the Lord Jesus
Can pay the price
By His Blood so precious
As an acceptable sacrifice

Use Me Lord

Use Me Lord

Use my eyes Lord,
so that I might see.
All those who are,
seeking after Thee.

Use my ears Lord,
so that I may hear.
The crying out of those,
who live in constant fear.

Use my tongue Lord,
so that I may confess.
And tell the world,
of Your Righteousness.

Use my arms Lord,
so I may reach out.
And gather up those,
who are lost in doubt.

Use my legs Lord,
let them run free.
To bring Your sheep,
back unto Thee.

Use me Lord,
use all of me.
Help me to find,
those who can't see.

Words Are Free

Words Are Free

My words are free before I know
And now I want them back.
My tongue is quick, my will is slow
When senses leave the track.

I see the hurt within your eyes
And know I can’t erase
The pain induced by words unwise
And speech devoid of grace.

For words are free, but cost so much
when freely given reign.
Our words can bring a healing touch
or cut to deeper pain.

I wish to span this rift I formed
And pray we won’t relive.
I’m sorry now emotions stormed.
I beg you, “Please forgive!”

The only hope we have is love,
An everlasting bond.
This hurt, I pray, you’ll let go of
And we can move beyond.

For words are free before you know
And you can’t take them back.
Your tongue is quick, your will is slow
When senses leave the track.

In Jesus' Hands

In Jesus' Hands

In Jesus’ hands, two fish and loaves
Became enough to feed the droves.
He welcomed need and always will,
For by his hands we have our fill.

In Jesus’ hands, the sick were healed
And Satan’s horde could only yield.
The lame could walk and blind could see
Just think what He could do in me.

In Jesus’ hands, the simple folk
Became the ones through which he spoke;
Mere fishermen then preached the word,
When Holy Spirit fire stirred.

In Jesus’ hands, a crowd of lost
Became a church on Pentecost,
And then were sent when stones were hurled
To take good news throughout the world.

In Jesus’ hands, the gifts I bring
Are blessed when given to my king.
I know my effort isn’t much
But little blossoms with his touch.

In Jesus’ hands, the lost find hope
And find in Him the strength to cope.
His hands will reach what we can’t touch
And in our hearts will do so much.

In Jesus’ hands, I find my rest
Where I can see his wisdom best;
Surrendered to his will and plans,
I place my all in Jesus’ hands.

God I turn to you

God I turn to you

God, I turn to you in my time of need.
I've, strayed my path and now your help I ask.
I'll, do what you say, so I may proceed.
No matter, how difficult of a task.
For his Love, my journey I won't concede.
Hoping, that in God's glory I may bask.
In the end, when it's all been said and done.
God's help, assures my journey will be won.
Psalm 85:10-12

"Mercy and truth are met together;
righteousness and peace have kissed
each other. Truth shall spring out of
the earth; and righteousness shall look
down from heaven."

My spiritual guide

My spiritual guide

God's, the one who's fueling my Headfire,

For he, is the one who gifted me life.

When times, are rough he finds ways to inspire.

God, helps me to eliminate my strife.

God, casts away all of my doubts and fears.

Engulfing me, in his warming embrace.

Wiping away, my flood of shameful tears.

Filling, my whole heart full of love and grace.

Guiding, my soul through the daily melee.

Along, my journey to earn salvation.

The Devils, army of demons layway.

As God leads me away from damnation.

God's been my spiritual guide since birth

I'll cherish his guidance for all its worth

At His Feet

At His Feet

Oh, that I might lie with him,
My face upon his breast,
Hear the heartbeat of my love,
Cheek pressed against his chest.

With ev'ry beat of his heart
He speaks of sovereign grace.
Growing closer to my love
As I seek his precious face.

He tells me of the treasures,
Riches stored in the darkness
And with intimate love songs,
Whispers to me in his fullness.

Devotion overwhelms me
I here singing in my heart.
Praise goes forth to my Savior
From my innermost parts.

As my love for him endeavors
To seek his precious face,
I'm intrigued by gifts of fullness
Overwhelmed by love and grace.

A still, small voice whispers,
Speaking within my inner ear
The secret revelations
That my heart longed to hear.

He spoke amicable love songs,
'Came a cradle to comfort me,
While we both shared together
His intimate secrecies.

He enlightened my yearning heart.
As unity took its place,
Revelations new to me,
Adoration upon his face.

He has made known to me
The pathway for the weak.
As I bowed before him,
Laid prostrate at his feet.

With every beat of his heart
The worship began to flow.
His passion overwhelmed me
Reaching the depths of my soul.

I've encountered supernaturally
The love songs from my Lord
List'ning to the rare heart beat
Of his precious, holy words.

I've come to take my place
In my Lord's sweet retreat.
Where I can kneel before him
Spend time at his precious feet.
