Take Time to Be Kind
Kindness is a virtue
given by the Lord .
It pays dividends in happiness ,
and joy is its reward ,
For if you practice kindness
in all you say and do ,
The Lord will wrap His kindness
all around your heart and you ,
And wrapped within His kindness
You are sheltered and secure ,
And under His direction
Your way is safe and sure .

Kindness
So put away all malice and guile and insincerity and envy and all slander . Like newborn babes , long for the pure spiritual milk , that by it you may grow up to salvation ; for you have tasted the kindness of the Lord .

Thank You , God , for Everything
Thank You , God , for Everything
Thank You God , for everything ,
the big things and small ,
For every good gift comes from God ,
the giver of them all .
And all too often we accept
without any thanks or praise
The gifts God sends as blessing
each day in many way .
The things we take for granted
but don’t mention when we pray ,
Then , thank You for the miracles
we are much too blind to see ,
And give us new awareness
of our many gifts from Thee ,
And help us to remember
that the key to life and living
Is to make each prayer a prayer of thanks
and every day thanksgiving
Jan Bagwell
God Bless !!
Into all our lives ,in many simple , familiar , homely ways ,
God infuses this element of joy from the surprises of life ,
which unexpectedly brighten our days , and fill our eyes
with light .

The Power of Prayer
The Power of Prayer
Nobody knows the power of prayer ,
But somebody must be listening there
With a friendly ear for the heart that calls
Someone Who knows when a sparrow falls
Miracles lie in the power of prayer ,
Faith that can banish the soul’s despair !
Hope that can shine like a holy light
And brighten the spirit’s darkest night !
When earthly help is of avail
Just lift your eyes – the answer is there .
For nobody knows the power of prayer!

Springtime in Your Heart
Springtime in Your Heart
Keep Springtime in your heart
With its healing beams of gold
Let the fire Autumn
Warm you through the Winter’s cold .
All through the Wintry winds that blow ,
When birds away have flown ,
Picture rays of sunshine
Through Summers you have known .
Feel the warmth of Springtime ,
Let Nature’s lovely sounds
Be heard again in spirit
Through all of Winter’s rounds .
And when it’s cold and dark
And dreary seems the day ,
Bask in the warmth of God’s great love
That can never pass away .
Keep Springtime in your heart
Though it may seem long ago ,
Through falling snow and icy winds
Its warmth in you will glow .
Spring’s lovely flowers , its azure sky ,
Kept fast in your minds ,
Will show God’s love , keep hope alive
‘Til Winter passes by

God is seeking for Men
God is Seeking for Men
God is seeking for men in this world’s last hour ,
For men who can love-and anointed with power
Will stand in the gap ,and make up the hedge
That many in darkness of sin may be led
To Christ the Redeemer who only can save
From the power of evil , despair and the grave .
God is seeking for men who can sorrow and feel
For the souls He created , whom no one can heal :
The poor , broken bodies , the sin-darkened souls
With none to deliver and none to make whole ;
The dear little children who cry in the night ,
Who long for a Saviour to bring the Light .
God called for a weapon to punish the lands
To put to the sword the work of His hands ,
And bring revelation on sin through His Word ,
That the nations far off may yet know the Lord .
But though they were punished by war’s cruel hate .
So soon they forgot their most terrible fate .
And every man wanders his own selfish way
Enjoying his pleasure and failing to pray
For the power of the Spirit that makes feeble man
An instrument , mighty to save , in the land .
O , where are the mighty , the holy and just ,
To whom God can proffer such high , noble trust ?
Where , O where are the few to stand in the hedge
To fill up the gap by a resolute pledge ,
To carry the message of power to the weak ,
The hungry ,the sick ,the forlorn and the meek ?
My brother , my sister , won’t you be the one
To tell the glad tiding of God’s only Son ?
Think not of tomorrow and what you may lose –
A throne and a crown is for those who will choose
To follow the Lamb anywhere He may go :
Rescuing souls out of darkness and woe ;
Leading the lost in God’s infinite plan –
Won’t you tell Him today ,”Lord , I’ll be that man.”

Your House of Happiness
Your House of Happiness
Take what God gives , O friend of mine
And build your house of happiness .
Perchance some have been given more ,
But many have been given less.
The treasure lying at your feet ,
Whose value you but faintly guess ,
Another builder looking on ,
Would barter heaven to possess .
Have you found work that you can do?
Is there a heart that loves you best ?
Is there a spot somewhere called home ,
Where spent and worn your soul can rest ?
A friend , a tree , a book ,a song ,
A dog , which loves your hand’s caress ,
A story of health to meet life’s needs ,
Oh , build your house of happiness .
Trust not tomorrow’s dawn to bring
The dreamed-of joy which we wait ,
We have enough of pleasant things
To house our souls in goodly state ,
Tomorrow , time’s relentless stream
May bear what now we have away ,
Take what God gives , O friend ,
And build your house of happiness today .

The Heavens Declare the Glory Of God !!
The Heavens Declare the Glory Of God “
You ask me how I know it’s true
That there is a living God –
A God who rules the universe ,
The sky …the …the sea…the sod;
A God who hold all the creatures
In the hollow of His hand;
A God who put Infinity
In one ting grain of sand ;
A God who made the seasons-
Winter , Summer , Fall and Spring ,
And put His flawless rhythm
Into each created thing ;
A God who hangs the sun out
Slowly with the break of day ,
And gently takes the stars in
And puts the night away ;
A God whose mighty handiwork
Defies the skill of man ,
For no architect can alter
God’s Perfect Master Plan –
What better answers are there
To prove His Holy Being
Than the wonders all around us
That are ours just for the seeing .
