Eternal God and Loving Sustainer

Eternal God And Loving Sustainer

Eternal Mighty God and Creator is our Loving Provider and Sustainer.
Everywhere on earth you can trod you find evidence of a Mighty God.
Mighty indeed with power from above and mightier is His Awesome Love.
God put to death His Only Seed, how can He not give us all we need?

Throughout your own life's pages you will find The Rock of All Ages.
He's there at every instance, for He spoke the world into existence.
He has always been Eternal God with Jesus and The Spirit at His side.
He gave us The Spirit to live inside to be our teacher and our guide.

Indeed God can be your provider and in eternally more ways than one.
First there's no way to deny it, He sent as a sacrifice His only Son.
God will provide all you need on earth to your death from your birth.
He provided us with new birth so we're not destroyed with the earth.

It is by Jesus, for whom all was made, that this earth is sustained.
The entire earth belongs to God, every spot where your foot may trod.
God gave you the breath of life and sustains you both day and night.
Not only you and I friend but the entire world from beginning to end.

To sustain you through Eternity God must first destroy your iniquity.
If Christ is not your desire, He'll preserve you in The Lake of Fire.
Sustained by God in a world of sin, imagine life as Eternity begins.
On the cross Christ set you free so He can sustain you in Eternity.

God moves in a mysterious way

God Moves In A Mysterious Way

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants his footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines Of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs,
And works His sovereign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.
Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan his work in vain;
God is his own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

Our God is a God of glass

Our God is a God of Glass

Our God is a God of glass.
Through him, with him, in him – we see the world – all that is seen and unseen.
We stare yet see right through.
Our God is a God of colour – shards of yellow, red, green and blue
Through a cosmic texture of silence.
Our God’s symbols are transparent
Stare at them and see them disappear –
Listen
Hear the water of our baptism trickle away
It is only water
Listen
Hear the words of our forgiveness be recited
They are words
Look
See the corpus Christi – the body and the blood
Bread and wine
Remember
Vows made long ago on an altar of youth
Promises of hope
They are as real as glass – they open up to us a world beyond
And at the same time form a barrier to that world.

“Now we see through a glass darkly,
Then we shall be known face to face.
The knowledge I have now is imperfect,
But then I shall know as fully as I am known.”

Our God is a God of glass
Fragile, delicate, smooth yet so sharp
Our God is a broken God
Shattered, pierced, cut
We are made in the image of our God
So often we are seen yet appear transparent
So often we offer views to others
So often we are fragile
Look around, those for whom you are given care
Do you look through them?
Each a symbol of confused ignorance?
Or are they a window to a new world of knowing?
Do they give you visions of life beyond the room you have created?
Are they shattered?
Is it the brokenness in them which is their reflection of our God?
Is it their wounds, their hurt, their suffering
Is that our God yelling to us – I am here!
Do we look through it?
Our God is a God of glass
We pray in silence, yet hope our words are heard

Lord hear us.

Man foegets God,But God reminds him

Man Forgets God, But God Reminds Him

When miracles, God does 'fore every eye,
And improves every state of gloom, despair;
To pray to God and thank Him, man asks why?
Until the moment, he hungers for air.

But God allows problems to seize a mind;
To warn a man, he'as gone astray from Him;
Reminding him, His commandments to bind
And make his soul better and look more trim.

All things will happen as per divine word,
And without God, no man achieves a thing;
We are his flock; He is our Good Shepherd;
He cares for us, expecting not a thing.
Why then do we forget the Mighty God,
And knowing fully well, we are just clod!

Granda's Hands

GRANDMA'S HANDS
Grandma, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. She didn't Move, just sat with her head down staring at her hands. When I sat down Beside her she didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I Wondered if she was OK. Finally, not really wanting to disturb her but Wanting to check on her at the same time, I asked her if she was OK.She raised her head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you For asking," she said in a clear strong voice."I didn't mean to disturb you, Grandma, but you were just sitting here Staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained To her."Have you ever looked at your hands?" she ?asked. "I mean really looked at Your hands?" I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned Them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really Looked at my hands as I tried to figure out the point she was making.Grandma smiled and related the following story:"Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. "These hands, though wrinkled, shriveled and weak have been the tools I Have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life. They braced And caught my fall when as a toddler I crashed upon the floor. They put Food in my mouth and clothes on my back. As a child my mother taught me to Fold them in prayer. They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots. "They held my husband and wiped my tears when he went off to war. They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent.! "They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son. Decorated with my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someone special. "They wrote my letters to him and trembled and shook when I buried my Parents and spouse. They have held my children and grandchildren, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I didn't understand. They have Covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my Body."They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw. And to this Day when not much of anything else of me works real well these hands hold Me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer. "These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of life. But more importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and Take when he leads me home. And with my hands He will lift me to His side And there I will use these hands to touch the face of Christ." I will never look at my hands the same again. God reached out and took my Grandma's' hands and led her home. When my hands are hurt or sore or when I stroke the face of my children and husband I think of Grandma. I know she Has been held by the hands of God. And I, too, want to touch the face of God and feel His hands upon my face.

Jesus , Thou Divine Companion

Jesus, Thou Divine Companion

Jesus, Thou divine Companion,
By Thy lowly human birth
Thou hast come to join the workers,
Burden bearers of the earth.
Thou, the Carpenter of Nazareth,
Toiling for Thy daily food,
By Thy patience and Thy courage,
Thou hast taught us toil is good.

They who tread the path of labor
Follow where Thy feet have trod;
They who work without complaining
Do the holy will of God.
Thou, the Peace that passeth knowledge,
Dwellest in the daily strife;
Thou, the Bread of heaven, broken
In the sacrament of life.

Every task, however simple,
Sets the soul that does it free;
Every deed of love and kindness
Done to man is done to Thee.
Jesus, Thou divine Companion,
Help us all to do our best;
Bless in our daily labor,
Lead us to the Sabbath rest.

LIFE and DEATH AND PRESENT and FUTURE

Wisdom of world, foolishness before God, As scripture says: Lord knows, wise men's thoughts: Nothing to boast about in anything human, The world, life and death, present and future.All our servants; but we belong to Christ, Christ belongs to God, we are Christ servants, Stewards entrusted with mysterious of God, What is excepted of stewards? Each one, Should be found worthy of his trust, not that, It makes the slightest difference to us, As for us, it makes the slightest difference Whether human authority approve, Lord alone our judge, must be no passing, Premature judgement, leave that for Lord's coming, He will light up all hidden in the dark, Reveal secret intentions of men's hearts, Then the time for each to have whatever, Praise, we deserve from God, is it that we, Have everything we want-that we are rich, Already in possession of our kingdom?
