Going Home

Going Home

Going home to the glory, my flight it is waiting
Just delayed by heart’s fading beat.
When God finally calls, no hesitating
For I at last my Saviour will meet.

Once I heard how much Jesus cared,
Claimed Him as my Lord in a prayer.
Cleansed and ready, my soul is prepared,
For Heaven’s home and I am going to be there.

What glory there, some of it has been told,
The tree of life by deep crystal sea.
The streets of the city paved with pure gold,
And all its splendour is waiting for me.

Often in my heart, so deep is a yearning,
A longing for Heaven’s bright distant shore.
The hand of time so swift in its turning,
Will stop in its circle and move for me no more.

Then I will go, happy in the leaving
The ties of this earth no longer will bind.
A mansion in Glory, the reward of believing,
And the cares of this world left far behind.

The blood of Jesus, the fuel for my flying,
The fare of my flight bought at great price.
He paid for it all in His suffering and dying,
And purchase was complete when He did arise.

I am but a pilgrim and stranger on this earth,
Aimless and restless its paths I will roam.
It may know me now this place of my birth,
But Heaven is waiting and I am going home.

Are you ready ?

If You're Happy, Tell Your Face

If You're Happy, Tell Your Face

Are you one of those negative Christians?
Does your face many times wear a frown?
At times when you converse with others,
Do you tend to bring their spirits down?

My friend, why not try to show your joy
If you have been truly saved by grace?
Smile and share your joy with others.
If your heart is happy, tell your face.

Let the light of Jesus shine through you.
Others are watching you everyday,
So let the great joy of your salvation
Just drive those ugly frowns away.

Smiling uses fewer muscles than frowning,
So just smile and give your face a rest.
If you are truly happy, tell your face.
Show your joy and smile your best.

Walkin' On Water

Walkin' On Water

Floatin' on water, lightning's flash!
Floatin' on water, raindrops splash.
Floatin' on water, pouring rain!
Walkin' on water is insane.

Floatin' on water, leave my boat?
Floatin' on water. Will it float?
Floatin' on water, don't capsize!
Walkin' on water is unwise!

Floatin' on water here hiding.
Floatin' on water deciding.
Floatin' on water hearing voice.
Walkin' on water is a choice.

Floatin' on water in the storm.
Walkin' on water's not the norm.
Floatin' on water. Still in fear?
Walkin' on water, volunteer?

Floatin' on water, who succumbs?
Walkin' on water, Jesus comes!
Floatin' on water, Jesus see -
walkin' on water calming sea.

Floatin' on water, no more waves.
Walkin' on water, Jesus saves!
Floatin' on water does enslave!
Walkin' on water's not your grave!

Walkin' on water? Can't conceive?
Walkin' on water? Just believe!
Walkin' on water, I am too!
Walkin' on water, how 'bout you?

With Mercy Eyes

With Mercy Eyes

There came that day when all seemed lost.
The Father’s pain, yes oh what cost!
The Son would die and give His life.
To end our sin and daily strife!

We didn’t know the truth on high.
We all fell short, we all must die!
Blind eyes see not the stain of sin
on everyone; not one came in.

Pure God though looked with mercy eyes
And saw our need, our pain, our cries.
So He gave hope, yes on that day,
And won for us that holy stay!

All love from God did cast our sin
From east to west - for us the win!
But each must choose His death for theirs
Or pay the price, sin’s wage - it tears!

So look to Him and bow your knee
Forgiveness sure, its’s yours so free!
For God is love, His mercy reigns.
Son’s cleaning blood removes our stains!

The Son, His work that breaks all lies.
That work by Him, for us He cries.
His payment sure, new life it buys.
Pure God does look with mercy eyes.

Hard Work

Doing back breaking work
Puts a new light on life
Makes you see
How to appreciate life

Getting hands dirty
And mucking in dirt
Makes you realize
That life is hard work

Dusting the cobwebs
And scrubbing the floors
Makes you just love
The hard work
You've just done

It's a labour of love
At a job well done

Now its time to sit back
And relax in the sun

You feel happy content
At all that you've done

So pat your own back
At a job well done
Happy Labor Day

I Remember That September

I Remember That September

It was September eleventh, two-thousand-one.
How I remember that day and that year!
Through awful heinous acts of terrorism,
America lost many lives so very dear.

Hijacked planes hit the Twin Towers.
It changed New York City's skyline.
Worse than that, many were killed,
Even policemen and firemen so fine.

A hijacked plane hit the Pentagon,
And many lives were lost there too.
The western wall partially collapsed,
But the terrorists were not through.

Brave Americans overcame the hijackers
On United Airlines Flight Ninety-three.
They crashed the plane in Pennsylvania
Before it was hijacked to Washington, D.C.

Many Christians around our dear nation
Started praying and seeking God more.
Many Americans started going to church,
Who had not been going that much before.

On the calendar, it's called Patriot's Day.
The loss of many patriots, we'll remember.
May we pray every day for our dear nation
And remember that fateful day in September.
Have a wonderful labor Day !
And remember freedom is not free , somebody has to PAID  the Price
Stop letting poeple tear  our county apart
Please  Father God Bless this county again !!

The Angels Kept Silent

The Angels Kept Silent

Away up the hillside
My Savior was led.
My humble Lord Jesus
With thorns on his head.

The angels above
Looked down on His way;
They kept silent as they
Watched Him that day.

They watched as the beam
Was dropped in a hole.
Wings trembled in rage
And made thunder roll.

Not long ago they watched
Above where he lay.
They rejoiced as the Savior
Was placed in the hay.

This time they watched silent,
They did not rejoice;
They did not echo in
Any harmonic voice.

Did they wait in their legions,
A single word to be said?
One word to prompt a rescue
Archangel led.

Did they know this way was
God's eternal plan?
From the sword in His side
To the spikes in His hands.

The angels kept silent
As He cried 'It is done.'
Did they weep as if
The enemy had just won?

As the Messiah was
placed into the grave,
Did they know of the plan
For human souls to save?

Three days passed as they
Watched the stony place.
The death shroud then fell
They looked upon His face.

Heaven could no longer
Hold back their voice;
Their silence was broken
In harmonic rejoice.

Hallelujah! He is risen!
He has risen from the dead!
He is alive! He is alive!
Just as He said!

Death has no victory,
Death has no sting!
For Christ is alive
He's the everlasting King!
