You Never Walk Alone

You Never Walk Alone

You never walk alone,
in this life you live;
You never walk alone
for God will surely give;
All the love that you need
to live a life of peace,
And the blessings of the
Lord will surely never cease.

You never walk alone
as on through life you trod;
You never walk alone
for you are a child of God.
You are precious to your savior,
your master and your King,
And for the love he gives to you
your heart will surely sing!

You never walk alone
even when death is at the door,
For Christ will surely guide you
safely to his kingdoms shore;
And in this kingdom you will dwell
in the masters care,
And all the glory that is his
you will surely share.

So please remember as you live
and walk upon this earth;
You've never walked alone
even from your day of birth;
For christ has always been by your side
taking care of you.
And if you'll look back over your life
I'm sure you'll find its true.
You never walk alone!

Where Time Stands Still

Where Time Stands Still

I found myself in desperate hope -
I couldn't sing, I couldn't cope
with city's noise that so annoys
and racing time as sin destroys.

Among the city's working slave
and the great ocean's pounding wave,
the time slipped past and flowed so fast.
I prayed for peace - that it would last.

I'd often pray while I would dream
of peaceful life beside a stream -
where acorns drop from high atop
the tallest trees - where time would stop.

Alarmingly high from rocky ledge -
through prayer I found the river's edge.
But there were graves in ocean caves
where men sought shelter from the waves.

I climbed down from my lofty pride
where many stumbled, many died.
In danger, pled I, humble cry
that I should live and never die.

Confessing I, reached deep within
repenting of my ev'ry sin.
And when I found that solid ground,
the grasses, green, were all around.

For all the beauty I did thank
my God along that river bank.
In answered prayer, without a care -
through faithfulness, I found Him there.

And then upstream, a path I took
along a creek, then bubbling brook.
Continued I, to walk on by
all other things that caught my eye.

The water clear, refreshing, clean
was prettier than ever seen.
As if possessed, I couldn't rest -
so feet pressed on. I was His guest.

Beside His living, bubbling spring.
I found my voice and I can sing.
It is so sweet. It is complete.
All time stands still with no repeat.

I tarry there in peaceful prayer.
I'm in His arms and do not care
for futile lies and futile cries
of man's deceptions as he dies.

His living spring of water lives!
It never takes - but always gives.
I sought His will and found the thrill
of living where all time stands still.

THE BRIDGE BUILDER

THE BRIDGE BUILDER

An old man going a lone highway
Came at the evening, cold and gray,
To a chasm vast and wide and steep,
With waters rolling cold and deep.

The old man crossed in the twilight dim,
The sullen stream had no fears for him;
But he turned when safe on the other side,
And built a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man," said a fellow pilgrim near,
"You are wasting your strength with building here.
Your journey will end with the ending day,
You never again will pass this way.
You've crossed the chasm, deep and wide,
Why build you this bridge at eventide?

The builder lifted his old gray head.
"Good friend, in the path I have come," he said,
"There followeth after me today
A youth whose feet must pass this way.
The chasm that was nought to me
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be;
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim

Christ Alone

Christ Alone

I've been through different spheres of life,
And each taught me a lesson of their own,
That no matter how tough they seem to be,
I'll always give thanks to Christ alone.

I've been misled to think that this life was all about me,
Forgetting the fact that I'm just living it on a loan,
And when my time is due to be sent on an eternal leave,
I'll just have to return it to Christ alone.

When all hope is seemingly lost,
And all my efforts yield results as light as an empty cone,
I'll always try my best at any cost,
To put all my trust in Christ alone.

I've come to understand now,
That Christ for my sins and transgressions did atone,
That when I'm left with the choice of who receives my bow,
It definitely must be to Christ alone.

To die in Christ for me is gain,
Although living for him is not easy on my own,
But even when I'll be given this life to live again,
I'll live it all for Christ alone.

The Love of Jesus

The Love of Jesus

Jesus loves you and me
Even if we cannot see
What is in store for you and me

Winter-Summer-Spring-Fall
We are always at His call
For He loves us one and all

Jesus is always near
We have nothing to fear
Put all your cares in His hands
He will love us-obey His commands

Jesus loves us
Even if we stray
He will always love us
Whatever comes our way

Hearses Don't Pull Trailers

Hearses Don't Pull Trailers

Hearses don't pull trailers,
loaded with earthly treasures
they don't tow your worth
and your worldly measures.

They don't carry the living,
and their prized possessions
they only bring along a coffin
and lead the graveside procession.

You can't take it with you,
all you've acquire will turn to rust
and what you adore and cherish
will be left behind in the dust.

You can't haul away your stuff,
there's no place in heaven for it
and one day all you own and love
you will have to let go and forfeit.

There is no trailer hitch,
attached to that black hearse
but you can lay up your treasures
if you read and apply God's verse.

So don't cling on to the things,
that have no heavenly reward
let go of them long before you die
and God will give you His award!
Matthew 6:19-

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures
on earth, where moth and rust destroy
and where thieves break in and steal;
but lay up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither moth nor rust
destroys and where thieves do not break
in and steal. For where your treasure
is, there your heart will be also."

Imperfect Perfection

Imperfect Perfection

An imperfect perfection,
Since the day the apple was bit,
Born into a world of sin,
No cure in a first aid kit;

Man alone can't save this heart,
Full of regrets and shame,
You offer the only restart;

A chance to be made anew,
you shine your light in the dark,
Your words are all true;

Offering up all transgressions,
So your spirit will fill the void,
And you bestow your blessings;

For I'm tired of falling,
Unless it's to my knees,
I hear your calling;

Use me Lord,
I'm your imperfect perfection
